1.3 AI StudyBot Requests

When you use the AI StudyBot or "Explain with AI", we send the question you type, and any part of a paper you crop or a quiz question image, to Google's Gemini AI service to generate an answer. Your saved chats and AI explanations are stored on your device only. Please don't include personal information in AI questions.

1.4 Payment Information

For subscription services, we collect:

• Subscription Data: Subscription tier, payment status, and transaction history
• Payment Processing: Payment information is processed securely through PayUnit (third-party payment processor)
• Billing Information: Payment method details (stored securely by our payment processor)

4.3 Advertising

Pamphlet shows ads only when you choose to watch one: a rewarded ad that unlocks a single answer or adds extra AI requests. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit ad personalisation in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). Premium subscribers see no ads.

4.4 Our Website

Our website, pamphletapp.com, uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. If you send us a message through the website's contact form, your name, email and message are delivered to us through Formspree.

4.5 Other Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple: For optional account authentication
• App Stores: Google Play Store and Apple App Store for app distribution
• Analytics: Firebase Analytics for app usage insights

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us to delete your Pamphlet account and its associated data at any time:

1. Email support@pamphletapp.com with the subject "Delete my Pamphlet account", or message us on WhatsApp (+237 620 110 207)
2. Send the request from, or include, the email address you use to sign in
3. We will confirm and delete your account and personal data within 30 days

Deleting your account removes your profile and subscription record. Records we must keep by law, such as payment transaction records, are kept only as long as required. Papers, answers and AI chats saved on your phone are removed when you uninstall the app. Deletion is permanent and an active subscription cannot be restored afterwards.

6. Children's Privacy

Pamphlet App is designed for educational purposes and may be used by students of various ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

For users under 18, we recommend parental supervision when using the app, especially for subscription services and payment features.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data.

Firebase services may process data in various locations worldwide, but Google maintains appropriate data protection measures in accordance with international standards.
